Driving

In today's world, driving is a vocation, not just the trimmings rounding out other employment requirements. While the term 'professional' is usually thought of as only applying to racecar drivers, et al, but not to drivers driving commercial vehicles, nothing could be further from the truth. The scope of industrial and commercial drivers is boundless. In today's economy people are driving buses, taxies, tractor-trailers, logging trucks, construction site vehicles, farming equipment, front-end loaders, municipal equipment and a wide variety of in-plant equipment. Not only are people required to drive a vehicle but they are also expected to be able to check commercially used vehicles for damage or maintenance, understand special air braking requirements, assume responsibility for passengers and demonstrate special safety considerations on all roads and highways in many different weather conditions. Driving is a serious career where drivers, who constantly update their skills, are proud professionals.
